Trust Women

I know it's been a while since I've last posted in this blog. Currently, animation has been halted indefinitely because of other things that had come up-- I haven't really been talking about it that much in my Twitter, which I use regularly.

I have made this entry in response to a question, in honor of the 37th anniversary of Roe vs. Wade. Recently, NARAL Pro-Choice America had asked its followers to respond to a question- what does "Trust women" mean to you? This is not what I normally use this blog for.

"Trust women" was what abortionist Dr. George Tiller had lived by, before he was massacred last year by an anti-choice ,"pro-life" activist, at his church. The words were important because they promoted confidence that women would make the best choices for themselves-- the government does not and should not dictate the personal decisions of one's body, which is what many people seem to believe in the anti-choice movement. I believed the words Tiller had spoke were essential to live by today, without anti-woman interference. If abortion is outlawed, how can we truly trust women? How can the country prove that we are confident in women making the right decisions for themselves?

I regularly tweet, promoting choice and putting my own two cents into certain events in the pro-choice movement, all for the sake of keeping women out of prisons and keeping abortion safe, rare, and legal.

Trust women. Don't be a freaking pussy about it.

Jumping Animation

The animation that I talked about in my Twitter has just been finished. The animation was done with absolutely no templates, as it all started with a blank canvas. Simple to you? Maybe. But I'm quite proud of this.

Here's the link to it... I don't know how HTML can be used to show Flash on this blog website...

Doing this simple loop, I learned a lot more about Flash. For a more experienced animator, this whole thing would take maybe an hour. I ended up making mistakes, not planning correctly, and even doing large time consuming amounts of work I ended up not having to do, or just throwing away right after I made it.

Anyway, (to my loyal three or less people who actually look at this blog), enjoy it for what it is. This is my first original animation ever made in Flash.
